In the Booth Toowoomba have been attending weddings and events at Highfields Cultural Centre for many years. It’s easily one of our favourite Toowoomba event venues.

Their expansive function space looks simply beautiful with ceiling draping and fairy lights. In our experience many functions need to work around limited dance floor space – not so for weddings hosted at Highfields! Guests enjoyed pre-dinner drinks while entertaining themselves with croquet and badminton on the lush summer lawn. James and Emily selected our wine-coloured photo booth entry curtain which matched seamlessly with their crisp white linens and wine chair sashes. Rustic baby baby’s breath and timber round centrepieces tied into their photo booth print design.

James and Emily’s wedding guests were selfie-ing up a storm all night with Guest Cam!  Covid19 wedding restrictions were still in place however Guest Cam ensures no one has to miss out on the action.

The newlywed’s wedding cake almost stole the show. Wine-coloured roses, baby’s breath and greenery adorned their three-tier cake. The ‘Mr & Mrs’ gold cake topper was the perfect touch! Covid19 wedding regulations asked for a stylish safety cover for James and Emily’s cake. Cake covers aren’t usually viewed as a desire item however we thought it gave their cake a touch of ‘beauty and the Beast’! We loved the addition of twinkling lights to the inside too.
