Hello there, I’m Ian from In the Booth Toowoomba! The opportunity to give a first class experience to the Darling Downs area (an area I have lived in for most of my life) through In the Booth is something I emphatically value.
It never ceases to amaze me the attraction of a photo booth. I love watching people experience the photo booth for the first time and then come back again and again – once is never enough! It’s particularly great being a part of something that brings so much enjoyment to an event and has timeless appeal. Without a doubt the booth seems to possess its own magnetic attraction! I never tire of hearing those words “what a great idea”! For these reasons and more, it’s hard not to love what I do. By all means, drop by a wedding expo or public event and I’ll be happy to give you a guided tour!
Subsequently when we’re not boothing it up I’m often out running and love hanging out with my two awesome and very busy boys Charlie and Sam.

It's really the least I can do to tell people about 'In The Booth' Toowoomba. I truly do think it made the night as I knew most of our guests were not dancers. I didn't want a guestbook that would be shoved on a bottom shelf somewhere. People still ask about my guestbook and the ridiculous, slightly inappropriate but hilarious photos they took! My Mum and I first saw your booth almost two years before my wedding at an expo. Thankfully you let us book without a set venue or time. You were the first thing we organised and the smoothest. If I ever need a photo booth again I'll be sure to call. Thank you for taking the extra Guest Cam photos for me. They are all great, but the ones of Dad and I are special.

When Tammie and Damian had the Havaiana thongs out for the ladies to change into when they were dancing at a Picnic Point wedding, that stands out for sure. We’ll also never forget the 1950’s themed belated wedding reception for Bec and Josh at Ortem Café. It was unquestionably the coolest party ever with all the trimmings. What are your essential tips for organising a fantastic event?
Firstly, great music is a must! For the most part it sets the atmosphere and people are relaxed and your wedding, party, formal or any event for that matter will be simply remembered. Check out the infamous Toowoomba street art, which was subsequently a part of the ‘First Coat’ festival. Step back in time at the Cobb and Co museum. It's ideal for a day out with the family for its interactive displays to demonstrate our history. After that check out the playbill at the heritage listed Empire Theatre. In any event there are plenty of places to visit and see.
