We had the pleasure of bringing a booth to Bridgeman Baptist for their annual dinner – this year’s theme was ‘Bring on Britain’ and bring it on they did! The costumes, as always, were fantastic. Thanks for having us again guys, we had an awesome time!

After a fantastic launch a couple of weeks ago, coinciding with the Portobello Bride Boutique Wedding Market, bookings have been flying in. Does it count when it’s almost February and we’re only just getting around to the ‘happy new year’ blog post? We hope so 🙂

We do have a good excuse – after only a moment’s breather over Christmas, In the Booth was right back into it for the new year and beyond. We lost track of the amount of events we attended over the holiday period so the poor little blog suffered a bit of neglect!

We have also been busy assisting our clients and venues with changes with their events due to the disastrous Queensland floods 🙁 Being based on the north side, we have been fortunate to not have our homes or business affected during this terrible time and are doing all we can to support various events raising money for the flood appeal. ‘In the Booth’ Mackay raised over $900 for the QLD flood appeal at a recent event and thank you also to everyone that dropped by ‘In the Booth’ Brisbane today at Events Cinemas Chermside to have a whirl in the booth in exchange for their donation as well. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with those affected long after the water has receded.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our clients for a wonderful year in 2010; your support and kind words have meant so much to us. So much of our business is generated from word-of-mouth referral and thanks to you, 2011 is almost full to the brim! We have so many things in store for this year – more booths to keep with growing demand and some exciting new developments in the pipeline so stay tuned!
