Guest Cam means guests can capture photos anywhere around your event and they’ll print from the booth. Yep! We launched this little feature back in 2015 and it’s just as popular to this day. Your USB folio is bound to be full of Guest Cam photos you never knew your guests captured. It’s a super fun surprise seeing your celebration through your guests’ eyes!

Guest Cam is magic on its own. Your family and friends need nothing more than to download our free app and they’ll be on their way. We tend to find once one guest figures it out, Guest Cam spreads like wild fire. Your friendly attendant is of course always on hand to assist too.

In addition though, some of our customers like to come up with a photobooth backdrop to make Guest Cam a little extra A “photo zone” always encourages guests to capture even more photos. A specially themed spot will encourage them to get snapping even more. Here’s some of our favourite ideas.

Streamer wall

All you need is a blank wall and some masking tape. Use streamers or streamer “curtain’ to create a space for your guests to pose in front of. 3m x 3m is ideal and will fit in larger groups too.

Balloon wall

Nothing says party like balloons! Again masking tape is your friend here. Choose a multitude of colours or theme the balloon colours to suit your event. Spotlight will be your friend here – they sell balloons in every colour of the rainbow and then some!

Light Up Signage

Light up letters, neon or any other signage attracts guests for photos like moths to a flame. It can also double as bridal table backdrop. It will also have more friends and family approaching and asking for a photo!

Floral display photobooth backdrop

Any kind of floral display makes for a gorgeous Guest Cam backdrop. Either wall based or free standing is fine. We love the pictured example which shows the beautiful scenery behind the florals too.

Textured wall

A pre-existing wall at your venue is the perfect budget conscious solution. Rocks, bricks and greenery are common feature walls at function venues. Simply use this space to your advantage! Sometimes a little extra signage or some Guest Cam print samples on a table will help point people in the right direction.

Themed scenery

Does your event have a special theme? Go all out and use props and other display pieces to create a “scene” for some super photos! For example, a red carpet step-and-repeat wall for a Hollywood party is always a huge hit. Our customers here always created a theatre stage effect with draped fabric. How awesome does it look?

The great outdoors a your photobooth backdrop

Finally, the outside scenery may be all you need. Breathtaking scenery and afternoon light will make for some beautiful photos. It’s also a location stamp of memories of your day. Again, some additional signage pointing the way to a perfect photo spot is ideal. Kind of like a theme park and their “Kodak Moment” photo spots! Your guests are sure to take care of the rest.
