Photo Booth Hire ABIA winners – what a week it’s been!

Last week, In the Booth were absolutely thrilled to be announced the winners of ABIA’s exclusive Designer of Dreams Awards in multiple states. Queensland was honoured to take out the top place with SA, NSW and VIC following and WA placing in the Top 10. Our team are blown away and incredibly honoured. On Wednesday the 20th of April, Australia’s Top Wedding Professionals tuned in to watch the 11th National Designer of Dreams Awards. Proudly hosted by ABIA Weddings, Australia’s Largest Wedding Awards & Review Platform, the Designer of Dreams Awards honour wedding vendors who have consistently delivered excellence every year for the past four consecutive years.

Despite two years of sheer devastation to the Wedding Industry, over 100,000 married couples ranked, rated and evaluated the quality of product, quality of service, value for money and attitude of staff across 4,613 wedding businesses. 326 Finalists (or just 7% of nominees) went on to compete in Australia’s most prestigious Wedding Industry Awards.

A total of 35 winners were announced during the Virtual Awards, including In the Booth who was voted Australia’s No.1. The Managing Director of ABIA Weddings, Natasha O’ Meara, said that In the Booth should be extremely proud of their accomplishment which honoured the pride, passion, and professionalism with which they delivered their product and service to their Wedding Couples.

Natasha O’Meara went on to say that Wedding Vendors like In the Booth who have demonstrated the business skills and the determination to excel and exceed expectations are those who will continue to strive and thrive into the future in what is a fiercely competitive marketplace.

According to ABIA’s data, Weddings and Wedding Tourism contributes $7.25 billion to the Australian economy each year and plays a vital role in supporting local business development. Crucially, weddings continue to promote love, joy and family togetherness, qualities that have never been more important in today’s post-pandemic society.
