Video Photobooth

Video photobooth fun was launched by In the Booth way back in 2011! Did you know we were the first photo booth company to add a video option to our booths? Since then we’ve continued to pave the way with custom technology built to suit the photo booth and special event environment.

At In the Booth, we’re not big on fads or trends. They’re words that are thrown around a lot in the wedding industry. The dictionary defines those two words as follows:

Fad
a temporary fashion, notion, manner of conduct, etc., especially one followed enthusiastically by a group.

Trend
to emerge as a popular trend; be currently popular:

Our problem with both of those descriptions is that we’re not interested in services that have a short shelf life. For example, as with fashion trends, most are fairly fleeting. Let’s face it – is anyone still wearing shoulder pads?! Sometimes trends can come back in, but it’s rare. In most cases even a returning trend has a short time in the spotlight.

Our video photobooth is here to stay

At In the Booth, we aim to be the denim jeans of the photo booth world. The cut and fit may change throughout the years, but the very fabric of who we are doesn’t change. There’s a reason denim jeans have stayed so popular throughout the decades – why is that?

It’s a question with multiple facets to the answer. No one thing describes why a product just…works. At In the Booth we take the knowledge of over fourteen years and 20,000 events and apply it to every idea. If it doesn’t come up to scratch, we don’t launch it, no matter how trendy it may currently be. It’s as simple as that.

Rewind back to 2011 and we knew we were onto something with our video guest book. It turns out, we were right! Customers were instantly blown away by being able to leave a message in the booth for their loved ones. Guests couldn’t watch their video back in the day. The customer simply received their guest videos in the USB folio after their event. Fast forward to 2015 and the launch of In the Booth’s app allowed guests to download their own video instantly. Our video guest book was once again raised to new heights!

You’ll now find there are various guest book options for special events. Some are digital only or audio only. If you’ve booked with In the Booth you simply don’t have to choose. Everything from a physical guest book to our video guest book and Gif and Slo-Mo video is included. Why choose a service that only offers one option when you can have the whole enchilada?

Video Guest Book

The original and the best! Guests can leave a 15 second video message via the touch screen in the booth. They simply select the video option and follow the prompts. We’ve seen everything from well wishes, to singing and dancing to signing and everything in between. We have had customers from many years ago contact us more than once because they remember “leaving a special video” they’ve misplaced. It’s truly an honour to know customers are remembering their video booth experiences after so many years. Our customers love the discovery of videos on their USB.

Gif Video Photobooth

Now it’s time for the fun stuff. Firstly, we’ll let you in on a little secret. A Gif isn’t a video despite first appearances. The booth captures a heap of photos super-fast and then loops them together to make them…well…fun! Thus folks, is a Gif. Whilst not technically a video, the result is a video style experience. Guests can download their Gif via our app straight away, the next day or whenever they choose. One of the best things about our app is that the party doesn’t stop for people to get their faces stuck in their phones. There’s no entering phone numbers or email addresses. No waiting for Uncle Jo to remember his own number after he’s had a few either! We’re about guests going through the booth and getting back to the party.

Slo-Mo Video Photobooth

Slow-Mo is a bit more traditional in the video photobooth sense. It will capture a short video burst and then slow it down. The results are tables full of guests laughing at their own genius and hilarity! We love how slo-mo has become the perfect side dish to our photo booth experience family. Our main dish will always be photos because (spoiler alert) we’re a photo booth. There’s a reason our phones are full of photos – they’ll always be our main memory. However, the addition of video to our photo booths has given guests yet another stream of fun and our customers another stream of memories.
