Video booth hire has been included in In the Booth’s extensive inclusions repertoire since 2010! Our launch as a photo booth only service. In 2009 was short lived with video booth being added to the stable soon after.

Step back in time to 2009 and no one knew what a photo booth really was, much less a video booth! In saying that, customers understood the mechanics of a photobooth. After all, they’ve been around since the early 1900’s. Our earliest customers didn’t know a photo booth could be hired for their wedding!

The idea for a video message offering in our booths was natural progression. We love nothing more than developing new products for our customers that extend the fun of their photo booth experience. Having said that, we are careful to avoid gimmicks and features that don’t work in the unique event environment. Guests also want the “prize” at the end – it’s a photo booth remember! Where’s the fun unless something prints out the side?

The launch of the video booth age

Our customers and guests alike were truly amazed when we launched our video guest book feature. We’ve have seen countless heartfelt messages recorded in our booths over the years. There’s something about giving guests the microphone without actually giving them the microphone, if you get our drift! The vast majority of guests aren’t comfortable speaking in front of a crown but a video booth gives them the confidence to leave their best wishes for you personally.

In addition, our video photobooth has been used for many corporate events as well. Custom activations where a video booth is required for specific guest feedback or company celebrations are super popular. The booth turns what can be a massive administrational task for companies into a straightforward way to entertain guests and record content at the same time.

To clarify, here’s a breakdown of our video booth services:

Video Guest Book

Guests can leave a 15 second video message. They can download a copy of their message instantly after recording via our free app. The messages are then provided to the client in our beautiful USB folio after their event along with all their photos. Gif Booth

The mighty Gif video booth experience is so much fun! Our software records a short video and turns it into a Gif. They’re fast, fun and super addictive. Guests can also download their Gif instantly via the download code the booth will print for them. Check out more info on our Gif inclusion here.

Slo-Mo Booth

We sped it up with Gif, now it’s time to sloooow it down with a slow-motion video. Guests find these hilarious – because they are! The booth will record a short video and slow down the speed….basically until it gets funny. You can check out some examples for yourself here. Whip your hair anyone?
