Photo Booth Hire Reviews and Why They’re Important
We’ve had hundreds of photo booth hire reviews over our thirteen-year tenure – maybe even thousands! We receive photo booth hire reviews via multiple sources. Some customers email us directly and we publish them under our various locations. Some complete a rating via ABIA or write a review under our profile on Easy Weddings. We also have reviews under Google My Business.
The important thing when reading photo booth hire reviews is to ensure they can be verified. What do we mean by verified? Well, just because our Mum thinks we have a great photo booth service, doesn’t mean it is! In short, anyone can write a “review” and post it next to five gold stars on their website. That’s why it’s super important to verify reviews from multiple locations and sources.
Happy reviews are easy. That’s what every company wants, right? Satisfied customer reviews don’t make us stronger though. They just tell us what we do well. Any company worth their salt uses poor customer reviews to improve their service for the next customer. Here’s some things to keep an eye out for when reading customer reviews for your chosen photo booth company.
Lack of timely contact
We get it, the pandemic has been kind to no one, especially the event industry. But when the going gets tough, the tough get going. We don’t believe being “busy” is an excuse not to get back to customers super promptly. If you’re reading reviews about wait times and especially poor communication after the event, it’s a good sign to steer clear.
Slow printing or slow software
A photo booth experience is a well-oiled, or more importantly, well timed machine. What we mean is the software design and guest experience should be timed to the nano-second for an optimum experience. If reviews state the booth took a long time to print or there was a long wait, be cautious. Clunky timing is a sign of poorly executed photo booth software or cheap equipment with slow processing times.
Print Quality
Photo booth prints can be found on fridges many years later – they need to last the distance! Like everything, photo booth printers and print paper come in various standards of quality. We’re creating archival memories for families – cheap gear doesn’t go the distance. If you’re reading reviews about poorly lit photos or prints that don’t go the distance, look elsewhere.
Unprofessional staff
This one’s a biggie! Poorly trained or unenthusiastic staff are a common complaint in the event industry. When client sbook with us they often have tales of woe from previous photo booth experiences. They may have been to a wedding where the staff member was inappropriately dressed. They could have attended an event where the operator spent their night on their phone. An engaged and enthusiastic staff member is essential for what we do. When you read photo booth hire reviews, you’re sure to read plenty that mention our staff.
