How can a photo booth assist with fundraising at our event?
Set price per booth session
Setting a ‘price per session’ is an effective way of fundraising at your function. As most guests enjoy taking photos in the booth with their friends, the ‘pay per session’ method works well as the price remains the same; whether there be two guests going through the booth together or six.
Armband sales
If fundraising efforts begin long before your actual event with pre-sale of tickets, another option is to pre-sell photobooth armbands, passes or hand stamps at the door. This means that guests with an armband, pass or stamp can use the booth as many times as they like during your function. We advise that your chosen option to be sold at the door on the day of the event as well to encourage further sales. This removes the need for guests to be carrying cash on the day and has the added value for your guests of unlimited photos with their family and friends.

Fundraising Event Planning Tips
Advertise everywhere.
Advertise your fundraising event everywhere you can. Make sure your guests know all about the wonderful cause you are fundraising for. Posters in staff rooms, around your workplace or school and out in the community are essential to inspire people to attend your awesome event. Your website and social media channels should clearly list how guests can support your fundraising efforts via the photo booth.
Be organised.
Start your advertising early so there’s plenty of time for the excitement to build by word of mouth! Ensure arrangements are in place for armband or ticket sales on the day of your function as well as pre-sale. Do you have enough staff available to sell on the day? Are there enough extra tickets or armbands? Do you have a ‘donations’ bucket ready in case guests will like to donate additional funds on the day? Being prepared will ensure your fundraising will run as smoothly and effectively as possible.
Invite a photo booth sponsor.
If local businesses are sponsoring your event, consider asking one of them to sponsor the photo booth. The sponsor’s logo can be incorporated into the instant print design as extra brand awareness and as a special thank you.
