Confused by how many “booth” models there are out there? we hear you. That’s why an In the Booth photobooth remains iconic. Booth models flooded the market because so many of them could only do one or two things. Our Australian made booths were specially designed to move with the times while remaining true to our vintage photo booth roots. We don’t chase trends and we don’t add every new digital product that appears from overseas. Instead we look inward, behind our own velvet curtain.
No ‘fish bowl’ effect
Remember the fun of having to jump into the passport booth as a kid? So do we. Pausing in front of an entire room for a photo can just feel…awkward. Our brides and grooms tell us they love the moment of total privacy the booth gives them during their busy wedding day. It’s a place to pause, a place to go crazy, a place to stop time….the point is, it’s what you make it. Video Messaging
Been checking out those telephones for hire where you can leave a message for the guest of honour? Well…we do that too 🙋♀️ Our video message feature records your guests’ heartfelt messages complete with sound AND video. Everything captured during your event will be supplied along with your booth photos on your USB folio. Because we only offer enclosed photo booth hire, all our booths can capture video messaging which isn’t possible within the open environment.
Controlled environment
An enclosed environment gives every guest a better photo booth outcome because it controls the setting from start to finish. Firstly, enclosed booths block harsh venue lighting and glare. Recording ‘booths’ have always existed for a reason! Guests will naturally take their turn and wait outside the booth for the current guests to exit. An open environment has very few borders and at busy events, things can get hectic.
No unsightly tech
Photo booths are built on tech. It’s just we’ve designed ours to be the prettiest girl at the ball! Our enclosed space was designed to completely hide all the required tech. We’ll let you in on a little trade secret – photo booth printers are ugly and noisy! Photo booths also require power leads to connect all the moving parts together. Everything our award winning booths needs to operate is fully concealed inside a pretty package.
Vintage style
Our booths were designed in 2009 to bring the luxe glamour of the earliest photo booths to events. People would capture their booth photos dresses in their finery – did you know that’s where the idea for photo booth props comes from? In the Booth retains the retro style of a bygone era with modern customisations to suit the wide variety of events we attend. We spend enough time today staring at screens – our booths retain the best of history.
