King Leo’s 90th Birthday Celebration
What do you do when a much-loved legend turns 90? Naturally, you gather the family, light ALL the candles, roll out the memories and celebrate in royal style! Leo, affectionately known as King Leo, marked his milestone birthday surrounded by the people who love him most. From start to finish, the celebration honoured a life filled with service, stories, laughter and, of course, plenty of photo booth fun.
Leo’s children and extended family planned an unforgettable tribute for the birthday boy. We were speechless at Leo’s stunning cake that so beautifully recognised his proud veteran status. Ninety candles burned to celebrate every remarkable year. As a result, the cake display became a beautiful centrepiece for the celebration. It was wonderfully fitting for King Leo himself.
However, the details didn’t stop there. Guests also enjoyed an enlargement of a RAAF truck just like Leo drove during his years of service. It gave family and friends the chance to reflect on Leo’s incredible history with the RAAF Transport Drivers. Additionally, it recognised his dedicated service as a Warrant Officer from 1957 to 1987. What an achievement! So often a birthday is some cake and some balloons. Leo’s party was truly a celebration of an incredible life lived.
